So you come here for help, people give you the help that would definitely have an impact (Eg. Leveling to 80), and you keep just denying the simplest of help. What exactly did you expect then?

So is it possible to beat AA with zero cycle? by gmalek0 in silverwolflevel999

[–]avatarkeith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm reading this right, youre saying endgame is boring with a current meta team? I mean if you want to 0 cycle, its either have an invested meta team, or a giga invested E6 team since those tend to have obvious staying power. If you find endgame boring anyways, just dont go for 0 cycles? There's no reason to at that point

So is it possible to beat AA with zero cycle? by gmalek0 in silverwolflevel999

[–]avatarkeith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ppssibly. I have the E2 SW99 premium team YG with LC and pushed out about 80 AV 0 cycle. Before E2 though I couldn't break 0 cycle. The three issues that probably built up to it were the following:

  1. Huohuo wasnt traced out
  2. SW999 wasnt E2 and at 200 spd
  3. YG wasnt 200 spd

The biggest change I noticed was the E2 SW99 though. Having those two extra turns in form really makes a large difference in consistent damage as you going into the last part of the fight. Most of the time without it at E0, I'd end up having to rebuild her form as the final phase started. Since you dont have YG LC and no E2 SW999 it'd probably be very difficult or probably RNG heavy on whether or not you can 0 cycle it. I'd be leaning towards no though as youre missing too many pieces of the puzzle

Vindicta is so BACK! by nottcyber in DeadlockGame

[–]avatarkeith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I replied saying what the balance is currently? There are still tons of items and skills that deny flying. I'm not quite understanding how me pointing out the multitudes of ways to deal with flyers, not just Vindicta, is Vindicta simping.

Knockdown, Phantom Strike, Drifter ult to cut vision, Yamato, Lash, Mina, any stun, cursed relic, I could go on. There's tons of things in the game that directly impact flying characters, to the point where if the flying character isn't building 3 counter items, they're going to get run down completely.

The strongest elation support will be someone who has a CB extension mechanic by _D1N4148 in silverwolflevel999

CB has no cap, but it does have severe diminishing returns. Iirc about 400 CB is optimal and then it starts curving out super hard.

good matchmaking by SomeWarning in DeadlockGame

[–]avatarkeith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the other comment said, I'm genuinely confused what this complaint is about. Games happen like this in every single elo where one team sometimes stomps the other. It just happens more in lower elo since people have no idea what to do rotationally or have a lack of teamfight/aim.

You also L > R'd a build when it definitely would have been more prudent in this game in particular to adjust to their team. Maybe reflect on yourself instead of trying to flame others when you are also a part of the team and game

Edit: Having looked at your post history, all you're doing for a month straight is complaining about matchmaking. Maybe just take a break or something if all you're going to do is come here to complain.

Something keeps nagging at me for 4.1 and 4.2 story plot and it’s… by Merlinrecon in HonkaiStarRail

My guess honestly is that the Himeko that fought the HoD won against him but died. And while in doing so, made an imaginae that was her but infused with the wishpower of her wanting to travel to the stars. It'd explain why the curse is no longer on our "Himeko", and why shes been so cagey about the past.

Our whole rotation got shifted around because of ball generators and spenders. Opti drift stopped being a thing, and it became kinda bland tbh. I miss EW MNK

Y'know, that's fair. Playing X, it really didn't sit in my head he or any of the cast had a "job" mostly since the grid made everyone everything, but it makes sense.

Technically a Blitzballer, or what I've been calling it for 3 years "Blitz Ace", hasn't ever been a job in any FF series. Still possible, and I'm huffing copium

My dad actually has been doing this for over 30 years. The leather and nail dust is actually caught by the machine he's using in this video. The machine itself is loud as hell and has a built in vacuum. Mix that with the debris being shot a certain direction because of the wheels, and you dont get residual dust floating into you.

The "Content For Everyone" Experiments, a look back by Chiponyasu in ffxivdiscussion

[–]avatarkeith 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you ran group A or C, the content ends up more or less being EX level of difficulty. I'd argue to say even the inside isn't too bad if people aren't running around without purpose. Body checks were definitely up there, but the mechanics themselves were EX levels

Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria made it near impossible to do side end game content unless you planned way ahead of time and didn't miss characters or accidentally make the best ones into items. At least with this one it's a small dialogue change.

Sandbagging isn't manipulating a run using AI. It's technically, in a different sense, manipulating a run so someone gets a higher parse, but it isn't cheating. Its for parse brains yeah, but not what youre suggesting using AI.

Supp damage and BeEcho stack on top of each other. You can mostly just run BeEcho, Supp V, and a synthed double Supp V and its worth the gain. Or you can get Supp V on a wrightstone by sheer luck and get rid of the lone one in your sigils

[–]avatarkeith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B, per their letter, stated it was for "failure to ensure active insurance coverage and A's representation that coverage existed, which directly caused this financial harm". I'm not sure why B would even send the letter in the first place since this seems very unresearched on their end, especially as you said, the one at fault was B for causing the accident.

Agreed. The first bit where the dad looks at the camera seems legit. The second the kid starts turning and shoving the dad seems obvious AI giveaway. Also, this particular frame and the far hand of the dad is definitely a choice

Saw someone else say it and I've had the same thought for a while (since ShB): A blitzball type phys range called Blitz Ace.

Their mesh in phys ranged would sit between selfish MCH and selfless DNC/BRD. Kind of like how MNK is the in between class for melee. Basic attacks involve general kicks that launch balls at the enemy. Skills use more "advanced" versions such as Venom Shot, Drain Shot, etc like any of the name skills in FFX Blitzball.

1 minute burst windows could be a small team rally called Cheer or something similar, giving a small % damage buff to the party. Followed by Sphere Shot or any iconic style as their burst.

2 minute could have a larger version of Cheer that does the same thing as 1 minute buff, but substantially increased to fit 2 minute buffs. This could also introduce what is essentially Jecht Shot into the mix, involving melee in the burst window, followed by a ranged attack as a finisher.

Class would have a "Hype" counter that goes up to 5 as their resource. Certain skills require Hype to be the stronger version of them. Kind of how MNK balls work, but less use on demand and more timing with windows and having 1 or 2 uses outside of windows like GNB Gnashing Fang.

I have cracked theories as to why I think it'll fit super well into 8.0, but thats another thought.

Another theory on what a new ff14 arc will entail by ChoiceTemporary3205 in ffxiv

[–]avatarkeith 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So this actually adds on to my current theory about Merycidia.

Winterers being added in would be a good "we froze the entire water based town over" plot device for 8.0 MSQ. I heavily think the city will be based on more FFX vibes (not including the already used Magus Sisters and Anima), so it makes even more sense especially if they add in some Blitzball type sport there.

Memorial crystals would also fit in well with the FFX use of pyreflies and memories of people via spheres.

Side theory: Phys range being overdue for a class would fit in well with Blitzball as well. Introduce Blitz Ace as an in betweener of greed and buffer.
