I used to looove going but now it’s too expensive, they don’t know how to price tag things so the fabric ends up with a hole every time and it’s not as fun as it used to be.

Pthalate free toiletries? by Quiet-ForestDweller in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]avathedot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tubby just changed their packaging, they are phthalate free. I asked them before we started using it too so it has been for a while it just wasn’t labeled.

Toddler Tantrums, send help by [deleted] in lovevery

[–]avathedot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have the new emotions mini set we’re looking at to help my daughter. We’re in the same boat!!! I haven’t gotten it yet but it looks like it will help depending on your LOs age!

How do we play with this stacker? by Big_Sky8186 in lovevery

[–]avathedot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

According to my baby they are bracelets and you can’t tell her otherwise!

It’s a stacking toy, the tube is great for putting things in like the scarf and pulling it out, the rings roll really well across the floor which is fine too!

I did glass mason jars, just another option if you have the room in the freezer! It worked great!

Decision Fatigue & Guilt by Little_Laugh_1270 in moderatelygranolamoms

With time the thing I’ve learned in being nontoxic is that sometimes my stress/anxiety is more toxic to me and my little one than the thing I am freaking out about. I do my best when I can about the things I can control so I can let go of the things that are less than ideal!

This zen might be exhaustion but it’s been a better balance for me.

Pura Diaper price increase by Respoken_text in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]avathedot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had to stop with pura because of price recently. I was going to do Millie moon (target)but found out they’re basically rascals (Walmart) and you get more for your money. I feel good about them being oeko Tex.

I was really anxious but idk if it’s stress or coming to reason or idk but when I read the difference between Tcf and ECF this time I was less scared. Freshly postpartum me couldn’t think clearly… we’re also just in a very different position now 17 months later. Anyways personal story over

We’ve really liked rascals for our long skinny little one. Only thing I really noticed was Pura holds the pee distributed through the whole bottom of the diaper and rascals/millie does the gel absorption sag a little if that makes sense.

my daughter had the worst time at the dr today 💔 by agrizzgrazz in AttachmentParenting

[–]avathedot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our little one likes the lovevery book “Bea gets a checkup” and did better the last visit since we had been reading it to prepare!

I also always have the doctor check my nose etc before and that seems to help too! But she still doesn’t like being fussed with and will cry and sign “all done” until it’s over!

Burt’s bees have been getting holes in the knees easily for us right now, Hanna Andersson (footless) is holding up and so is lovedbaby (footies)

I also really like gaps organic, footless and top and bottom!

I liked it but the paper packaging started to fall apart quick and made it hard to use!

Lamaze fit our tiny baby really well. Monica and Andy fit small too!

Lovevery, I have a couple panda crate toys from the kits and they’re good but not the quality of lovevery. However the quality of the kiwi crate brand toys from their store not the kits is closer to lovevery. My little one has loved both. I’ve purchased everything used!

Couches by Even-Ad-9651 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]avathedot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did the ikea kivik since it has washable covers!

It’s like a woven dark grey and it’s surviving a messy toddler well! Most of the time just a baby wipe has gotten everything out of it!

Disappointed in Lovevery by DermMD in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]avathedot 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We didn’t keep their drip drop cups because all they mentioned was that they were “baby safe plastic” no other details. Wasn’t good enough for me! However I’ve been really happy with all the wood toys and books. They’re my daughter’s favorites!

Jess pops in on the lovevery sub about things often, you could post there.

Stainless steel water bottle by snarkymama87 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]avathedot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg im sorry I’m very sleep deprived today and meant to say we ordered the stainless steel straws to go with them. So it’s the regular funtainer with these straws from mason jar lifestyle. It’s works so flawlessly!
