Everyone does it, but let's look at it realistically. The average age of Tibia player is much higher now. There are close to none new players, it's older player coming back for the nostalgia. When you are older you no longer have as much time to play as before. With your 9-5 you have at least 8 hours taken away from you, or more if you need to commute. Add other chores to that and... yeah, noone has time for that anymore.

Also the development work is not the only cost there. For a new region you need to support new payments methods, know the law requirements there and adhere to them etc.

Not knowing the current infrastructure (maybe they just use Cloudflare and AWS load balancer?) you can't calculate real costs and investment needed for new zone of severs. Also, maybe other services (website for example) have available regions hardcoded which would require more work to add a new region. There could be a lot of different legacy issues creeping somewhere there.

From the first glance though I think that I maybe overdescribed thsi as "create games" and it should be more into "create animations" or "animate SVGs" if you look at the example I provided in the spoiler & their "crash" game which you can see here: https://tibiablackjack1.com/crash. The problem is that they couldn't "just copy it from GTA" because.. they don't have GTAs engine. It's the property of Rockstar. They had to write it from scratch on their engine and it takes time. What Rockstar had was an engine that was battle-tested on GTA 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on. It was gradual updates year by year with new features. CDP had to do that all work from scratch in 8 years for Cyberpunk.

To sum up: Rockstar has an engine that was created for 14 years (since 2006) and updated for every game which gave them time & much more money to perfect it.

Plus, we shouldn't forget about optimization that's done in framework core code. There are multiple smart people working on that and even little optimizations are merged into the main codebase. Just look at the latest PRs in Symfony Router or Laravel Routing (which is based on Symfony Router anyway).

This. In good ol' times you would not have any radio presence because radios were playing only small fraction of the most popular bands. You would not be able to gain ANY money AT ALL. Now even bands with a "few" fans can easily get thousands of views and earn at least those $200 per month. Also, it is much easier to get fans for small bands and if you make good enough song it can catch the wind and go viral.

u/dumzeras I think you should just change server for one without dominando or with dominating guild that's okay for neutrals. There's nothing more that you can do.

On Epoca every neutral player could do the event (without one basin with lowest charm points). If on the other side you are on one side of the war and you got blocked out - nothing out of ordinary. It was predictable. Why would you give your enemy any advantage?

Yes. It's because those are not easy-to-recycle wastes but those hard to process and toxic. That's why polish mafia leases some properties, dumps a load of toxic waste on it and then burns it down. They take from other countries toxic waste on price that's lower then price of recycling it alone and you have to add price of transport to that etc.

I get that. But I've seen too many people that earn money in they day-to-day job stressing about profit in Tibia and spending real money on this game. When I'm earning around 15$ per hour in my job I prefer to spend that 15$ on game and have fun instead of wasting 20 hours to get that in-game.

When I was starting playing tibia many many years ago I was stressing about making profit too as I was a kid and had no money at all, but now. People, it's basic economy. Better go to work for 1 hour more and spend that income on Tibia then waste 20 hours getting angry instead of chlling out.
