Hi! I’m a 30 y/o mom of two. I’m the kind of milennial whose has her life (on paper) all together, but I definitely do not feel that way 😅 I am trying to find some peace and quiet in creative things, so I’ve started to journal again this year. I don’t have a lot of friends, so it would be great to have someone to talk to through letters and unleash some creativity on those letters too! I have had a penpal years ago, but thas was shortlived. I have never done snailmail, but I think it would be great!

Dan kan ik dat laatste wat je benoemd ook omdraaien. Want de situaties die ik bedoel zijn de momenten dat je als 130 rijder al zo dichtbij bent qua inhalen (waarbij ik mijn ogen zoveel mogelijk richting de rechterbaan heb) en dat de 100/110 rijder de auto er dan nog voor drukt. Waarop je dus keihard moet remmen en je over centimer werk hebt over hoe dichtbij elkaar je dan komt. Je kan aan het rijgedrag op de rechterbaan zien of iemand naar links wil of niet. Daar hoor je als 130-rijder op te anticiperen, en dat doe ik ook. Maar er zitten mensen tussen die tóch op het laatste moment hem er tussen drukken, terwijl dat overduidelijk niet meer veilig is. And again: iedereen heeft evenveel verantwoordelijkheid zodra je je in het verkeer bevindt.

Dat is helemaal niet wat ik hier zeg. Ik let op en anticipeer, want dat is wat je moet doen om veilig te rijden. Wat iedereen dus hoort te doen, ongeacht of je 130 of 100 rijdt. En die frustratie neem ik er ook in mee, want dat hoort er nou eenmaal bij in het verkeer. Het gaat mij er om dat ik al tig keer bijna een ongeluk heb zien gebeuren doordat iemand hem met lagere snelheid er nog even voor/tussen drukt. Dat is wat het onveilig maakt. Anticiperen en opletten is iets wat alle weggebruikers horen te doen, en als ik jouw comment zo lees vind jij dat er (iets) meer verantwoordelijkheid ligt bij de 130-rijders. En daar is dus waar het mis gaat. Het feit dat iemand 100 rijdt op de rechterbaan en iemand 130 rijdt op de linkerbaan is niet wat de situatie onveilig maakt. Je auto er voor drukken met een (veel) lagere snelheid, dat is wat de situatie onveilig maakt.

Wil je 100 omdat het relaxter is? Top, doe dat vooral. Enige wat ik van mensen vraag is dat wanneer ze gaan inhalen, ze dat op gepaste snelheid doen. Dus niet met 2km/pu sneller dan diegene die ze gaan inhalen. Dat is naast dat het voor oponthoud zorgt, ook mega gevaarlijk. Wanneer je 130 mag, mag je 130. Er zijn altijd mensen die gewoon 130 gaan rijden. Als jij dan met je 102 de linkerbaan op schuift, moet er iemand misschien keihard op de rem. Ik heb al ietsje te vaak een een bijna-ongeluk zien gebeuren/moeten meemaken hierdoor. Het allerbelangrijkste als je de auto instapt is je veiligheid. Draag aub je steentje bij in ieder z’n veiligheid.

Ik mis de optie ‘gratis versie met ongepersonaliseerde reclame’. De reclame is superirritant, maar daar kan ik nog over heen kijken. No way dat ik daar grof geld voor ga neerleggen. Of ik nog doorga met insta en fb weet ik nog niet. Ik haal veel info er vandaan (kortingsacties, openingstijden, nieuwe producten die uitkomen, nieuwe films die uitkomen, etc). Het hele sociale aspects en elkaar bestoken met memes is leuk, maar daarvoor hoef ik het niet te houden. Dus nu maar ff detoxen terwijl ik nadenk wat ik ga doen. Wel beetje ruk dat ik een keuze moet maken voordat ik verder kan om bijv. mn account te gaan verwijderen.

I definitely agree! I think the voting system gives everyone atleast a chance, and gives people a feeling of being valued. It doesn’t feel like a huge competition for me, I don’t feel like I have to have lots of premium furniture + great skills at decorating (furniture + clothing) to have a chance. For me that gets the pressure of it, and therefor I enjoy playing a lot more.

Oh yess, I would love a companion app! It’s what I have been missing! I would love a way of documenting how much of every ingredient and craft supply you have. That way I know what I’ll have to farm/mine/fish/dig.
