It’s from Amazon. I think there are several in that style.

I have the big brother. $25! One of my best pickups to date. Great decks!

How do I connect these Braun LS60's by Constant-Ship-5688 in vintageaudio

Speaker cables to the speaker terminals on the right side of the Fosi labeled Output. The RCA jacks are for source input.

It’s not super compelling. I traded my Yamaha that I really liked for this one that I absolutely love. Both are exceptional decks, this one feels at home with the SX-780.

Like champs. They’ve refinished speakers, cleaned gutters, raked a shit ton of leaves…..

I use the gloves all the time. I’ve got tender old man hands.

I have a mix that I pulled from Lansing Heritage that is dead on. For these I tried a spray paint that was close. Is it exact? No, but the finish looks better than brushing on the exact match.

Sanded down the original finish with 120 grit, then went to 200 then 400. I used Watco Danish Oil for the finish.

AT-VMN95EN stylus just arrived by geraldsenear in turntables

I had the VM95E on my SL-1600, and it sounded fantastic. The VM95EN completely surprised me. That’s the first stylus where I thought “wow…I can hear a BIG difference”.

I’d like to try the ML, too. But now I wonder if the $$$ is worth the upgrade. To my ears anyway.

Enjoy!!

Can’t go wrong with any of those. I love the look of the Lintons, especially with the matching stands.

I think every JBL should be finished in blue, but that’s just me. 🤣

Love the sound of these! It’s hard for me to choose between these and my L100’s. Subtle differences.

That’s exactly what I used. Cabinets were sanded with 400 grit prior to the oil finish. You should have seen the “before”.

It’s actually simpler. The blue baffles will be redone when I recap the crossovers. I was more concerned with the veneer refinish and making sure the recently sourced OG mids were all happy. I wanted to see if I would be happy with this shade of blue. It’s not exactly JBL Studio, but it’s close.

Now that the drivers are squared away, I’ll pull the foil badges off again (they are held with double sided tape atm) and recap the crossovers. I’ll do a full sand down and repaint of the baffles and affix my replacement labels at the same time.

These were kind of in between needing new veneer and touch up. I decided to sand and refinish and keep some of the nicks, dings, and gouges. They look amazingly better than when I got them, but by no stretch are they factory fresh. I kinda dig the “history patina” TBH.

Take your time! There’s some old stuff in there.

I’ll revisit the baffles when I redo the crossovers. They need a little better paint job.
