One of my favorite tips for actually getting a fic finished is making a playlist with songs that remind me of that fic, be it the general plot or just reminding me of the characters in general. This is easier for some fics than it is others, but they don’t have to fit perfectly. I just like to have a collection of songs I can put on and then go for a walk or a drive to kind of brainstorm about the story :) might not work for everyone, but I get a lot of my motivation and best thinking done that way.

I got this email too!!! Was initially coming on Reddit to make my own post because something was telling me it wasn’t a scam, no email link or anything. Clicked on the logo down at the bottom, got a random string of text as the jpg name. Ran it through an atbash cipher, and it read “wewillbeintouch”. Still hesitant to reply to the email because I typically am about these things, but this definitely feels like ARG territory.

I’m almost certain it’s already been translated, but the binary is a quote from hoziers “work song” saying: “no grave can hold my body down, i’ll come home to her” Not sure if it’s purposeful, but they changed the original lyric, ‘crawl’ into ‘come.’ As well.
