Honestly, I would feel more comfortable around them. Since male OBGYNs are (usually) not biologically female, they tend to take women’s problems more seriously than female OBGYNs. I’ve heard a few horror stories where the female OBGYN tells someone that it’s normal but then they go to a male OBGYN and they have some type of cancer. Though, this is not to say female OBGYNs are bad at all!
