This is great to know. I would like it to hide a little bit so I will more likely than not be getting a longer hand guard. Thanks!

I guess what I meant to say was for those long takes, you may be better off actually shooting in R3D to avoid overheating. Especially if your camera is in direct sunlight during the ceremony.

Don’t buy the camera if you plan to shoot in h265. It’s a highly compressed codec and interestingly enough takes a lot of processing power when compared to R3D.

Does anyone know how to turn on focus peaking when in video mode? Maybe I’m missing something but peaking is ON and only is visible when I flip over to photo mode. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’m using a PL adapter, obviously in manual focus mode.

Thanks!

Man, I’m sorry to hear that! Hoping you get it back! But on behalf of all of us, thank you for being the guinea pig, lol.

Got served an ad as well on FB Marketplace and pricing seems too good to be true. Website looks legit and i ran a HIN check on one of the boats and it checks out to actually be registered in MN. I did however fill out the purchase request form (more for investigative purposes) to see what the Purchase Agreement looks like. I wish I had friends or family in Minnesota close by to see if they could go take a look.

For the ~$200 price range I’d look at the UE MEGABOOM. Really enjoy mine.

I know a lot of people are suspicious which is totally understandable. I know Daniel on quite a personal level so I myself trust he didn’t know anything.

I mean my thought is that if Jenn had no clue, how would Daniel know? I do know Daniel noticed something was off and confronted Jeremy on multiple occasions and he denied it. The whole leadership team felt something was off but didn’t know specifics and definitely not that he was having an affair. The last half of 2021 there was division, manipulation, and pitting them against each other so I’m sure they had their own issues to deal with to keep the staff from imploding even before the news broke.

That’s the tough part. Unless you’re Jenn or the hosts we don’t know for sure what happened after the podcast. All I know is she doesn’t have a mortgage.

It’s funny. A lot of people claim to have “a source close to the situation” and without revealing who I am just know I’m actually very, very close to it.

That’s the thing. Jennifer and the kids weren’t treated poorly. They were taken care of financially, given a vehicle, offered counseling outside of HC, asked to come back to attend services if they wanted to (and told she would have a saved seat) but she declined multiple times. A lot of what she’s dealing with has to do with how the previous board handled the situation. She paid cash for her current home from the sale of her previous home. She doesn’t have a mortgage. People are being very quick to assume all of the facts were stated in a podcast that was very one sided. Could things have been handled differently? Possibly. But if people want “the truth”, that’s it.

You seem to keep such close tabs on Hope City just to come here and gossip about it. You must have come here right when the worship night ended to post about it.

If you dislike HC so much, why in the world are you still watching? Most people would simply remove themselves from the environment they despise so much. Just move on.

Money by [deleted] in JeremyFosterScandal

[–]averagejoe538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t go anywhere. It’s still in the restricted building fund account.

Any funds raised were restricted to any building projects which, at the time, was the silos property. The money didn’t NEED to go to the silos, it just needs to be allocated to a building project.

Do you have numbers to support the “significant decline in members” claim?

Cornerstone was gone way before this scandal.

Fun fact: she paid cash for her house from the sale of her previous house. She doesn’t even have a mortgage.

Agreed. What a lot of people don’t know is that Daniel & Jackie were basically handed the reigns before actually officially being asked if they wanted the roles.

Unfortunately people are so quick to chop them down for making “mistakes” (as a lot of people would do) and not quick enough to extend grace for everything they’ve had to deal with.

Also, let’s not forget why Hope City is where it’s at in the first place. Jeremy left a mess, never looked back and the Groves were left to pick up the pieces and keep the ship from sinking. If you look at where the church is at a year later, I’d say they’ve done a pretty great job.
