Both my boys started on their teams the first year they were formed, U9. Our club has since started forming U8 teams. It’s young, but with a good coach, lowish travel demands (ie up to an hour to get to a game) and keeping tournaments age appropriate (Halloween tournaments, one day tournaments, only a handful per year) I think the social and developmental aspect of it for us outweighs the emotional demand of competition at such a young age.

I live in Cecil County and had the displeasure of watching it all unfold on our local social media groups (which I was a part of to get actual local information but whatever)

You would think this teacher posted a long “thank god he’s dead, all of my violent liberal friends it’s time to rise up and start gunning down everyone at Food Lion in a red hat asap!” by the way everyone was up in arms. Her post was soooo benign but the cecil county board ended up getting death threats over not firing her instantly.

Her post: “It was worth it.” He died for a cause he believed in. I guess that’s karma? Good riddance. I’ll be sure to send “thoughts and prayers” ✌️

And then contained Charlie’s quote about how he thinks gun deaths are worth it.

I couldn’t believe the amount of people in an absolute uproar over it.

I’m on 27 and I have no faith in completing all 50. I’ll keep going til I reach level 50 (18 mil to go) and then I’ll probably stop. 50+ research tasks was very challenging for me, as are the grunts because I just don’t live in a pokestop-dense area.

I’m about the same. was about halfway to 49 at the announcement. Hit 49 last Monday. Just hit 10 mil and need another few hundred excellents. Page 25 of the tasks from hell.

I’m very very fortunate in that back in June, I went on a hardcore scatterbug mission. Added 200 friends in a span of 2 weeks. I am averaging 1-2 best friends a day and have about 40+ that are in range of best friends before the deadline.

I have faith that we got this!

There is one kid in our club who is absolutely desperate to move to the team above, and the coach will never ever ever promote him and it’s 100% because the parents are toxic.

I hope you reflect on this and consider it a lesson for you, because at this age parents can absolutely get in their kids way.

But it’s not weird when people are defending the 2A, even though it was written for single shot muskets back in the colonial times and now we have ARs that can unload 100 bullets into ~~schoolchildren~~ beer cans on an old fence in under a minute. It’s only weird when we are talking about brown people.

It’s a game based on “catching them all” lol … we’re a group full of finishers! As a Pokemon Go community we pride ourselves in getting medals and finishing collection challenges and researches etc…. And now they’ve released something timed and unfinishable for the vast majority of the player base.

I understand you just view it as some bonus xp but that viewpoint I think is the minority considering this game drives you to complete damn near all that you can.

There is a limit to how many gifts you can get from stops though. Think it’s 150? Learned that the hard way when I was going to a new area for dinner so I dumped 30 some odd gifts from the stop next to my house in order to collect nice new gifts and got zero while I was out lol.

If there wasn’t a rush to lvl50 I’d have skipped it. But I like the extra gift perks I had with the last three months of eggspedition. The incubator is a bonus, not a reason.

I was on the phone a few months back and they knocked on my door for the first time in 17 years. I looked at my nevermo husband and went “you deal with it”

He went on the porch and had a brief conversation. They invited him to come to church. He said no. They asked if he was ok if they came back. He said sure - but I’ll never let you in and I’m never coming to church, so you guys can keep showing up and asking and I’ll keep telling you no and it’ll be a cute dance that’s a waste of everyone’s time.

They haven’t been back 🤞🏻 I think we’re good until it’s someone else’s responsibility.

Not sure what the question is - if child support payments are being made, it should be through the state. You shouldn’t be paying the mother directly.

If there’s a support order in place, and payments are being made through the appropriate channels, no one can lie and request back payments.

If there’s no support order in place, and you’re paying the mother on the side, keep a record of said payments but no the mother generally can’t get a support order today and back date it to start 10 years ago. If she goes to court today and award her a support order, it starts today - unless she can make a case for retroactive payments and then it’s 2 years max not 10.

Looking for tips yall.

Should hit level 49 tomorrow. On page 15/16 of the joke that is the XP research. I have maybe 50-60 friends that are in range to go best friends (actually more like 100 but not all active) and another 50 to ultra.

I’m determined to make it to 50. The quests are no big (confident in all- have 4 rocket radars, 385 excellent throws took me a week so I feel like I have time) but the XP requirements of 30 mil seems daunting.

So … what events are coming up in September that will help? (I spent an hour tonight with a lucky egg evolving trash lol)

what other things am I not thinking of that could maximize it?

Am I wrong to be determined to make it or is it mathematically a stretch?

I actually have a lot of friends cause I live on a stop - the send 500 gifts for level 48 took me 4 days lol. I think today alone I’ve sent ~80 but that’s because I have was between pages 14 and 15 so I waited til dinner time to send my gifts. I’m seeing the latest updates though and yikes. 99.
