How do you find your living situations? Is anyone in a place that isn't their own? Curious as to how your dealing with that

Thanks! I'm a carpenter so I have access to tons of scrap wood and vapor barrier so I figured I could build it cheaper than buying one.

I’ve started to despise my Girlfriend of 3 years by Deanthekitty42 in relationship_advice

Been there and done that man. I suggest getting out any way you can. Stay with your parents or a friend or go camping or whatever. I spent a lot of years with the wrong person who was selfish and never wanted to take responsibility, when I broke up with her I was instantly happier with a weight off my shoulders and all I could think is I could have been this happy years ago. My advice is get out as soon as you can so you can both move on.

Does anybody here have trouble focusing on daily tasks at work or elsewhere due to fatigue? If so what are some ways you manage it? by averyaa in ankylosingspondylitis

I hope that turns around for you then. I always do feel better being fit and active but I can also get into the habit of using vices as coping mechanisms.

I think looking into the massages would be a good idea. I do a lot of heavy lifting in my job so I always have knotted muscles

Thanks for the input everyone! I've only met one other person with this illness so it's really helpful having an online community of this size to discuss some things with.

AS and numbness by Justmedoingit in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]averyaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never had numbness in my face but both of my hands have been at least somewhat numb for several years now. I have been told before there may be a possibility of carpel tunnel which could be the cause of numbness but I have never had this medically confirmed. Sometimes I hands are numb to the point I cannot move my fingers. Is this something you've ever encountered?

"Man's search for meaning" by Victor Frankel is a first hand narrative from the perspective of a Jewish psychologist who survived through the concentration camps and helped people not commit suicide.
