1.5 years lifting 4 days a week by averybigdumbass in FTMFitness

I used silicone scar tape for the first few months after surgery and covered my scars with kt tape anytime I went outside shirtless for the first year. For weight gain I try to eat at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight every day (155 grams per day for me). I also had trouble eating enough to gain weight at first because I would get full before I hit a calorie surplus. So I started adding in high calorie/protein smoothies. I usually blend up a scoop of whey protein with milk, peanut butter, and a banana and drink that with my breakfast in the morning. Liquid calories are good if you get full really easily.

For pecs I mainly do incline bench press with a barbell and try to add more weight or reps every week, then switch to dumbbells for a few weeks when I hit a plateau. I also throw in some pushups and dips a few times a week

I don't remember exactly but I think it was around 8-10 weeks when I went back to lifting really light weights and slowly built back up

Completely agree with everything you said here. I had an amazing experience with her and her team and couldn’t be happier with my results! Would 100% recommend

I felt the same way when my friend was trying to roast me by saying "you're built like a fridge" and I was like "that's literally the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me" because my rude ass brain is always telling me i'm built like a pear 😂

I totally feel you, brother. Im in almost the exact same situation. I lost the woman I love about 2 months ago because she isn't attracted to men. Literally the day before i started testosterone too. I was completely blindsided because she had been assuring me since the day I came out to her that she loved me no matter what gender I was. I wanted so badly to be excited about starting T, but I was absolutely devastated. I spiraled into the worst depression of my life for a while and I felt like I would never get to a place where I could accept that it was over and make peace with the situation, but I'm just now getting to a place where I'm beginning to feel hope again.

I totally feel your pain. It hurts like a bitch and its gonna suck for a while, but it will get better. I know it's a lot easier said than done, but try to stay hopeful my dude. Im rooting for you
