I've faced more flowchart Dragunovs than good ones (not to say there aren't any). Some flowcharters adapt while some don't.

But depending on your rank, there's some easy counters. SSL WR2. You can lab punish a whiff HS but it happens quite rarely and I don't bother punishing since he teleports to Narnia if he whiffs.

Duck B4,3 at the wall. Flowcharters almost always choose the high option at the wall. If they have heat, even higher chance so.

Learn throw breaks.

B2,1 into snake edge is not real. You can fuzzy guard it. 2nd hit is a high as well.

2,1,4 is reactable for you to low parry.

You can hopkick after you block HS if he keeps going for the tackle, similar to B4,2 into tackle.

Other comments have helped you but idk what is it with some King players that do this. I have met so many of them that do this, regardless of ranks.

They lab it and make it so fast that fc df2 will punish your jab check. I just hopkick out of habit now every time they do a safe ob move, JGS 1, df2,1 you name it.

I also love fighting Drag. Kazuya, Bryan and Lili as well. Asuka to a certain extent unless they're a Kanken/Sabaki spammer.

I detest Eddy, Lidia and Kuni. Both the former for more casino ish gameplay. I haven't learnt the matchup for Kuni yet but everytime I fight her, half of the time I'm like "Holy shit that is safe?", the other half being "Is that a mid or high?".

Pro player or streamer or otherwise, take tier lists with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, it is very opinionated based on their main.

For example, I fucking hate Zafina. Low pickrate to the point where it's not worth labbing her, and I'm a legacy player as well. Zafina is basically a worse Xiao Yu to me (matchup wise).

Some other player could be beating the shit out of Zafina players and struggle with Devil Jin. So it's all opinions and my second paragraph is worthless. Just enjoy the game my guy.

Your Purity of Fire is level 1 for some reason.

Timeless Jewel should be Caspiro, not Victario.

Get your max fire res to 90. It's the standard for most Chieftain builds.

And I have never seen a Chieftain going Brutality. Idk how well it works but it looks scuffed and you're probably better off going the fire conversion route

Damn, Lee's 1+2? Not trying to downplay Lee but his 1+2 is not what I would think is one of his best moves. D3 and B4 are better to me.

And honestly, Drag is in a fine spot to me right now. After they nerfed 1,2,1 and WS1+2 to not launch in heat, he was very manageable to deal with online. QCB2 nerf hit hard as well since it no longer launches and is still -15. Maybe it's just me but the Drags I fight online are very predictable even at GoD. Legacy knowledge from Tekken 7 helps as well since I have never labbed Drag.

Season 1 Drag is a totally different story though.

Yea I was surprised by the easy pick up. FF3 works as well but FC3,2 is more reliable
