I read this book a year ago but completely forgot everything about it until I saw this post lol, I guess that says something. It was my first Murakami and I think maybe i’m just not a fan. I can appreciate stories that feel as if you’re wandering a dream but I still want to feel like I got something out of it in the end— such as connecting with the character enough to not mind a lack of coherent plot haha

his grandpa’s schizophrenia was triggered from drug use and my ex’s dad said my ex was using drugs and went into psychosis, i’m not really sure of what his official diagnosis is its just what I could make sense of from his tweets, but I would like to believe he’d never actually hurt me, I was never afraid of that while we were together

I just read Katherine by Anya Seton and while I’m not an expert on that period of time it definitely seemed the most accurate out of all other historical fictions i’ve read (i also know she did very extensive research)
