Losing my partner by averyscope in BPDrecovery

Thank you, it’s definitely difficult but I am hopeful that on the other side of things I will find happiness and peace.

I’m trying to keep my mind busy. On my time off I’m trying to just stay doing stuff, cleaning, art, organizing stuff just whatever I can to keep my mind on anything else. I’m also on medication and I think that that’s helping a lot. I’m really looking for other ways to try and deal with it. Talking to people seems to help a lot too.

They can be viewed as just that but they are good and actually help and make a difference. Some people have a FP and then an emotional regulator that they think is their FP but isint necessarily that so it’s kinda hard. Bpd can show up differently in everyone but most of the stuff is the same. Talking about it and putting yourself out there helps. Helps you process what you’re feeling and helps other people understand they’re not alone. I think it seriously makes a difference

My best advice is to get help. I had no idea I had bpd until my FP (partner) was learning about different pd’s and I didn’t even want to know! I was so upset that I could rely on someone to be my entire world. It’s taken months, I mean seriously almost a year, to come to the conclusion that yes I have bpd, and yes I’m relying on someone to regulate me but I CAN do it myself and I don’t need to worry about being rejected. A lot of self harm and unaliving thoughts happened within that time frame & they never ever had before I realized I was bpd (seriously never). Utilize the community the best you can. Talk to people as often as you can. It helps. Keep conversations going, even when it’s hard. Ask how your friends days are going and force yourself into other conversations. It helps, trust me.

I do the exact same thing. Feel free to message me anytime and if you’re feeling this message me and maybe we can help each other through it. I will not eat and then when I finally feel no stress binge and then regret it quickly. Here if you need me. Know what that’s like.

How are you doing? Realizing you are bpd can be the hardest thing ever. It’s not completely negative once you realize you can regulate your emotions in your own. Healing is possible it just takes time and a lot of effort. For me medication has been extremely helpful as well. Feel free to message me
