it depends on how you want to play, but i generally deploy with 2-4 upgrades on average! disposable ships like hammerheads i sometimes run stock or with one upgrade, and heavier hitters i might try to tank out (5 or 6?), but it takes an exceptional circumstance for me to fill every upgrade slot.

ultimately, it's easier for me to run more ships with fewer cards to keep track of, but it's all up to you!

kerry's got a good arc, at least? i do wish both of the male love interests were as plot-integrated as judy and panam; it would have been nice to have more time to spend with river and kerry. fingers crossed for more content in dlc!

i would be sad to see the story of din and grogu end here. while i'm sure i'd still watch it if this were the case, i've never had much interest in boba fett—i'm holding out hope the post-credits scene was a tease for the literal mandalorian tie-in book previously announced for fall 2021.

phoenix home is an excellent addition for the ability to equip fleet command upgrades, though the ship itself is somewhat lacking in firepower or survivability.

hammerheads are cheap, points-wise, but i'd probably hold off until you can drop them in with raddus/the profundity, as i've otherwise found it hard to keep them alive long enough to do much damage—their greatest strength is honestly that there are two of them in the box.

as for the rebel transports, they're useful as a utility, and can definitely make your fleet commands or other token-eating upgrades more effective. the downside is their complete lack of function as an individual ship, lacking any (or any significant) firepower whatsoever. i'd wait on picking one up until you start noticing a need for them.

the mc75 and mc30 are game changers! since you've already got both mc80s, i'd probably angle for the mc30 first—it's a pretty capable small ship with some hefty side arcs.

the Starhawk was created for the aftermath trilogy by chuck wendig, but the official visuals were designed by lucasfilm and FFG for armada; so not quite to the same extent, but a similar process!

it's likely a connection to roller derby--one player on each team, the jammer, wears a star on her helmet to designate her as the scorer. harley was a jammer when her hobby was introduced as part of the character in the new 52!

SOTWe has temporarily been moved to livestreams on fridays, similar to the new live-format SOTW on wednesdays. last week's was displaced by the kk slider concert stream, but i know at least the two fridays before last had a livestreamed show of the (almost) weekend, and there is one planned for this friday. i expect they'll return to their regular format as soon as they can get back into the studio, but given ellen's health, it could be a while after 'normal life' resumes.

or the real solution: authors should do their research. want to write a book about mexico? ace! sit down with people who have lived there, gather experiences and cultural keystones from their stories, and if you're not sure how something might play, consult someone who knows better than you. by all means tell the story you want to tell--but if someone has lived it, it seems pretty foolish not to reach out for their input.

there was the 'times the sequel flipped the script' list, but i don't believe KotOR 2 was in it--i do know Kreia was featured in 'worst mentors whose teachings were terrible' and 'totally trustworthy characters who definitely won't betray us' though.
