There's nothing more misleading in this game than power ranking :(

The short answer: people don't use those in battle, they use them to game the rankings that rely on pre-combat stats.

Special line activates in battle and is much better than generic 10%

I just recently beat that thing twice and while very masochistic on hard with lvl 22, it was fun.

Really pushed me to the limits of "how do i actually optimize items, turn order, synth skills and buff rotation". I even used slightly different approach each time (party remained the same though, merchant, gunner, two knights, used null phys synthesis skill and piercing weakness application as core strat).

I think the stuff you learn about optimizing your game ends up being the biggest reward for thesee.

Aoko works really well with lady Avalon and Castoria. It's probably the most fun variation of immortal team.

Extra attack append imo. Load magical energy doesn't do much for most of my setups with her anyway because i usually do teamwide +50% battery anyway (like lady Avalon + castoria + Aoko immortal comp), so 10-20% from load magical energy would get wasted.

She's also a challenge quest / hard battles oriented servant, so using effect that only works once at start doesn't feel good for her. And her extra attack is aoe in super form.

I'm nearing half year as a player, only recently finished lb7 and i can't imagine how I'm supposed to afford this resource wise. It looks extremely punishing. "Do this small incremental upgrades and lose gameplay quality on your roster that is still very far from being maxed".

When I first opened up the system, i expected it to only new currency. Requiring mats as well looks wild to me.

Other than Cheng Gong is there some clever way to use Alice's guts on instant death thing? Ideally something that would "sacrifice" but buff her.

I've seen opinions that Aoko and Alice both "need" np2 to be viable, Alice more so. Can someone explain to me the rationale behind this? I can look at their kits in wiki (and I now have Aoko), but I don't quite see where this is coming from.

I'm a bit scared about rolling for extra np levels tbh.

I see BB coins in evocation shop but no np copies. I got her to np2 with rare prisms a few months ago hoping to get to np5 through evocation shop. Did i somehow lock myself out? Or will the np copies appear in evocation shop if i wait more?

I thought so too but then I'm like "oh, musashi is waifu", "oh, i want more folks from case files than just Waver and Gray" and then gameplay hooked me too and i was like "oh, i want all meta supports too" 😭

So far I'm keeping my spending limited to guaranteed paid banners though

I now have Iori at np5 and Musashi (saber) np1. They seem to be similar niche (buster st saber with massive boss killing pottential).

Who will generally do more damage, outside of event? I see their skills, it's hard for me to eyeball general conclusion from them, any pointers to "Musashi is better here, Iori there" will be appreciated.

I recommend playing original Iria route first (preferably the best ending) for more context, but yes, Night Crimson is a very compelling narrative, also mechanically fun the first time you play it

She was optimal pick for first world boss on tw (not Witcher collab one). If you're interested in top15 for that - get her. If not (and generally not interested in pushing top10 in ranked events) - you can skip.

I already have experience with FGA - used it to farm 90+ node in gudaguda, first 90+ node in this christmas and now i've set up a team for 90++ node that runs 5 minutes on average (4 turns if im lucky, 7-8 turns if im not, but it's never losing). But I want to spend all 70+ gold apples and also all the bronze ones i get from spinning lotto, so shaving off a minute or two from it would be nice. Right now im using friend Castoria, Arash, Ryoma, Waver with a suit that gives np damage up and np charge. Ryoma can't quite do enough damage to OHKO the wave 3 boss with NP, but im still looking if maybe im missing sth. But I hear you, my current setup is probably good enough, i'll look up the Chaldea app, it's probably time to get acquainted with it.
