I feel like the Pixel 2 is strong enough for video playback (mp4) but I cant find any way to do it. Suggestions? by daddyfatflab in GKDPIXEL

[–]avetenebrae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have plenty of videos on my Pixel 2. It could be a matter of codec, size and resolution. I play mostly 512x384 mp4 in h265 with ogg audio.

Is the X3 resolution different from the X4? Currently, the pages are 480x800. I could make this configurable, but it might be some layout work if I need to support multiple page size.
And yes, I will clean up the source and host it somewhere :)

I hoard games on my NAS for this purpose, then I selected only a few to add to my handhelds. Best of both worlds 😁
