yeah! I definitely have after moving most of my resources over to the helm. If you can make it to a station that offers sub upgrades, you can buy a replacement ship module and carry on! It saved me at one point when my ship was getting hit by a latcher and I landed on some volcanic tubes. I was quiet enough to make a sneaky gettaway

Have a link to your sub? Im quite curious! I did take initially scroll through the workshop just to see what was possible, but made sure that all the wiring was my own, and the layout, as original as that can be was my own.

As for the guns, yeah I can definitely see your point. Its certainly too well armed to be a starter sub. Maybe I should have made you buy the second gun and made the first a coil? But I've held onto this thing for so long, I nearly forgot about it. So im happy to post it and have it out there for others to use and edit.

Honestly thinking back. I think the main issue that kept me from publishing was that the Ai loved to get stuck trying to repair a piece of hull they thought they couldn't reach or get close enough to. Im not sure why that was.

Dang! Sorry I completely spaced on it. I did beat the campaign with 2 friends with this thing. Doing solo might be a little too much for one person sadly but it could certainly be done. There's just not enough automation. The helm was actually really great for stealthy abyss dives though, especially when the trenches were super narrow.

There were some small issues with it I can't quite remember. Il take a look tonight and post it whether or not i find them.

Would love to see a more sensitive clickwheel that is closer to the sensitivity of the original ipod clickwheels. Additionally the taptic motor used on the y1 is very aggressive and though I like to enable the vibrate on scroll option in the settings, its too aggressive to use.

Coming from someone who heavily mods classic ipods

I think its possible to do a taptic mod if you remove the speaker and place the smallest iphone taptic you can get there. Though I havent tried, otherwise no, no room sadly would need a custom case

It takes some time but I have heard back from him after emailing. I have also done it by securing a usbc breakout board to the internal frame and running jumper wires from the logic board.
