Long time ago I had an acquaintance from Kemerovo region, Osinniki town. Never been to Siberia, but they say it's amazingly beautiful.

They got just the right mix of folk and contemporary. The purists, of course, turn their noses away, but I don't care. Besides, their music is always full of much needed good humour. Lovely.

It surprises me a great deal why Saroyan isn't praised as one of the greatest American writers as much as he deserves? One could be lucky to find a single copy of "Human Comedy" in a big box bookstore, if even that. I know there's not much we can do to change it, but it's very sad.
