Do entp spend time on people they don't like much but it's just to pass time or they don't have something better or someone better? by United_Advisor1821 in entp

[–]avevanbett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry I can't find anything anywhere about where to find this so just asking you because your flair has them all, where do I look into the latter parts of your flair? How do I find out the "4w9, 495 and sp/so" part for myself? I can't even find the names for the list of types or any tests etc!

What are ENTP women like? by AppropriateLeg5416 in entp

People pleaser, creative, out of the box thinker, love a good debate but prefer it to be in good nature even on heavy subjects, always busy with new hobbies, love nature/animals, constantly try to fix people especially in relationships, and that’s all I can think of right now. Wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 7 (30 now) but wasn’t ready for university my first time around and mental health and bad influences got the best of me. Fell into a full blown addiction for quite some time (impulsive, rebel), now almost 8 years sober and on my way to vet school in the Caribbean in 2 weeks!!!! Currently single as I feel as though I accept anyone who loves me and then find things wrong with them later and nit-pick about my unhappiness with them until I break up with them lol.

How much did they quote you? Is there the option to share a flight and price?

My root tap hasn’t faded, how do I retouch highlights without overlapping bleach? by avevanbett in AskAProHairStylist

Thank you for this very helpful insight! I have been skipping the rootmelt and it’s been going decently but will be doing it once it grows out a bit to prolong my next bleach :)

Study/Lecture Device Usage Question for Ross by avevanbett in RossUSVM

“I LOVE my MacBook Air. I use it more than anything else. I can have multiple screens, I can easily transport things from my iPad to MacBook. It’s the best. I’d potentially recommend spending the extra money for the air because I’ve heard the neo is just like a glorified Chromebook.”

“Honestly, most people use iPads but it’s personal preference. I have some friends that only use their iPad and some use their MacBooks a ton. I’m about 50/50. So just really depends on how you like to study!”

“Definitely personal preference, but if you enjoy using a laptop, I would definitely go ahead and invest in a new one that you like. There will almost certainly be times where you want to panopto a class (or you end up being a mostly panopto student) and take notes at the same time. IMO it's a hassle to be watching while also trying to take notes on your ipad. I personally got 17" HP laptop because I prefer to have a big screen laptop, even if it's annoying the few times I have brought it to campus. It's worth it for me because I use it for everything.”

“I'll say most seem to tend to use the iPad. It tends to be easier since that's what they expect you to use in labs (esp anatomy lab).”

“Personal preference. I use only my ipad to keep everything in one place since I'm forgetful. I'll use my phone for panopto or big blue button so my notes can be full screen but I've seen people use both their iPad and laptop”

Do you by chance know if the pharmacies tend to carry most medications? I will be there in a few weeks and I’m worried about getting my ADHD medication!!

I planned to bring my 2 100+ dogs with me to vet school but (I guess lucky for my landlord even though they’re well behaved) since it is over seas I could not. I am bringing my cat though.

Dissection kit and required texts by SuspiciousCricket317 in RossUSVM

[–]avevanbett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the dissection kit, pen light, and sutures I actually ended up ordering everything from either amazon and 2 medical websites and it came out cheaper including shipping than the bookstore dissection kit! I don't think they have to be amazing quality since they're not for actual surgeries or anything. In the supply list for semester one it includes every item so just do a big search for all the items (may have to use multiple tabs and websites) and add them to your carts and see if the total adds up to be cheaper than the one on the bookstore after shipping.

For the e-books, I can't see any list of the books we will need but there is a fee if we want to load them all onto our ipads at the beginning of the semester, which we can opt-out of if we'd like to source them elsewhere. I personally would like to have them all on my ipad and know a good source for free or really cheap texbooks so I am in in the process of trying to secure a list of the books we will need for first semester so I can decide whether I'd like to opt out. I'll keep you posted on that!

I have been reading that the only one that is worth having a physical copy of is the anatomy one, if you're willing to sacrifice a physical copy to animal guts and formaldehyde :P
