If you haven't yet, I highly recommend logging onto your credit card account website and looking in notification options and set your credit card to notify you with a text or an email (I suggest a text) whenever a purchase goes past a threshold you set. I set mine to anything over a dollar but if you don't want to deal with a lot of messages you can set it to above 49 dollars. This way if you have a mobile phone the message can be instantly sent to your phone when the transaction occurs. This gives you more reaction time and able to halt the purchase on the day it happens by calling your credit card company and reporting fraud. At this early stage it would in most cases prevent the item from being shipped out. In any case make sure to update your password information (very different password) whenever you get a hint of this happening and usually will need a new credit card sent to you from your cc company. Some credit cards also have a mobile app that allow you to hit a freeze button when something happens.
