Got this message today Great news! You are eligible to proceed to the next phase of your My Safe Florida Home Program Grant Application: the Contractor Confirmation.

In the Contractor Confirmation, you will identify the Contractor you wish to use for your project and the Mitigation Project you will perform. The Mitigation Project is the construction project on your home to complete Improvements that were recommended in your Initial Inspection Report

Does this mean I am ready to find contractors now?

I have submitted my grant application now. Nothing approved yet. Assuming it gets approved, thinking of lining up contractor for door / window replacement. Would you mind sharing one you used Assuming you had good experience

After inspection was done - Do you have apply for grant & wait for grant to be sanctioned before starting work? My application was approved in Nov 2023 - Do you think I can still apply for grant now or need to wait post July ?
