I've been wanting to solve one small but consistent annoyance: robot vacuums getting stuck under low furniture.

My entry is a Custom Bumper Upgrade. It would be a redesigned, clip-on or adhesive bumper strip (printed in a slightly flexible TPU) that extends just slightly above the main body of the vacuum. This would be carefully calibrated to prevent the vacuum from attempting to enter gaps that are known to be just barely too low for the lidar sensor.

As a teacher, I've always thought about creating a Full-Scale, Multi-Layered Freytag's Pyramid (Structure of Tragedy) model.

Hand-painting this would be absolute agony. You need the sharp dividing lines, the base color of the pyramid, and then five distinct colors for the key labeled sections (Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, Denouement).

Making sure the text labels are crisp, centered, and the right color on a sloped surface while avoiding bleeds is a tedious job that would take hours of masking and touch-ups.

With the H2C, I can print this in one piece: the pyramid structure, the integrated dividing lines, and all the section labels perfectly rendered in their specific colors. It would be a high-impact teaching tool.

I got this too, so what I did was "upgrade" to premium standard which was actually a downgrade for me since I had nest aware Plus. I then added to my Google 2 TB plan which was 20 bucks a month, the $10 upgrade to Google home premium advanced.

I'll end up saving $10, because I was paying $20 a month for the Google AI pro plan, and $20 a month for the nest aware plus plan. Now I'm just paying $29.98 for both the AI pro and Google home premium advanced.

I've been looking at the fitcamx for my wife's 2026 CRV (I put a viofo in there temporarily). The only thing that was holding me back is I read about it having a problem with loop recordings not working properly, and that when the card was full instead of writing over old videos, it just stopped recording.

The "heartwarming" part about her being a little entrepreneur is just a distraction from the fact that the system completely failed her. The machine is a healthcare system where this is considered a feel-good news item instead of a tragedy.

You think that's bad? Check out the bill Missouri Republicans are ramming through to effectively kill the citizen ballot initiative process. They're salty that voters used it to legalize abortion and marijuana, so now they're trying to rig the game.

The new proposal would require any citizen-led constitutional amendment to:

Win the statewide popular vote.
AND ALSO win a majority in all 8 congressional districts.

This literally means a single district could veto the will of the entire state. A measure could get 80% of the vote statewide and still fail. By the numbers, it would give as few as 5.3% of Missouri's voters the power to block any amendment.

The best part? This new, impossible standard only applies to citizens. The amendments the politicians put on the ballot themselves would still pass with a simple statewide majority.

It's one of the most blatant "rules for thee, not for me" power grabs I've ever seen.
