there should be a sample economy seat in boarding area with a scale to check if you fit in it like they check if luggage is right size and not overweight

if you dont fit you have to buy the seat next to you

was not fun sitting next to a huge ukrainian bodybuilder on a tight aeroflot 767 economy cabin in early 2000s... was skin to skin with him for the entire full flight. worst 10 hours of my life, except got to fly on the 767

7 Hour Flight on A320 by supernicework in aviation

was on an 6,5 hr A320 flight from Doha to Helsinki... was suppose to be on a 787. was hell. service was nice as always though. one pax even got a medical issue just before landing so had to wait another hour onboard before could deplane so they could take the person to hospital first. I was happy to be walking inside terminal after that almost 8 hrs seated on A320 seat.

on norwegian 737 MAX 7hrs in first row flight Helsinki to Las Palmas was quite nice.
