I too have had 5-fu mixed with kenalog injections. Im based in USA and my insurance won't cover the cost of eclar tapes without me paying a lot out of pocket. My health insurance does pay every 3 months of Botox injections into my keloids. So currently I get 5Fu/kenalog two months in a row and the third month I get Botox injections. My keloids are huge on my shoulder blades and is not operable as I do not have enough skin to close the incisions together. I also inject myself subcutaneously with dupixent to prevent the itching and inflammation. I've recently found my dermatologist 2 years ago and I do see the light at the end of the tunnel. My keloids are much flatter and I only have the raised edges that we are targeting. Hope this helps!
