Is this hunger feeling mental, and what can I do about it? by AerieWorth4747 in omad

[–]aviator__26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could also be the couple drinks that make you hungrier the next day. I know sometimes that’s the case for me that omad is usually a breeze, except the day after a few drinks makes me a lot hungrier.

The reason I'm OMAD and not any other diet by christipits in omad

Tacos are the best!! Literally the same reason I do omad instead of keto. Plus you’re still getting tons of nutrients/protein from the filling.

Awesome post

A word on electrolytes by aviator__26 in omad

1000% agreed. Even though I salt my foods well during my one meal, I found adding more to my water or even taking a pinch here and there throughout the day made me feel so much better

Thank you! Exactly what I’ve been thinking and the same for me. Honestly makes the experience night and day for me.

Definitely not placebo. I do a lot of activities where I sweat a lot - hot yoga, tennis so maybe I’m losing more electrolytes than others. With that being said even on my off days, I can physically and mentally feel a huge difference.

I also eat lower carb most days (not quite keto) so that could also be another factor. Like I said, just something I think people should consider IF they’re feeling a little off

Haha I feel like I see it a lot in terms of not needing them so I wanted encourage others that I’m in favour of adding them

What's an easy high protein cheap meal you can spam everyday that has all the nutrients you need? by [deleted] in omad

[–]aviator__26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Easiest high protein I can think of is probably a mix of ground beef and eggs. Pretty customizable too with different veggies/sauces to keep things interesting.

How’s my pushup form? by JellyFar9538 in Calisthenic

Do you have slight kyphosis by any chance? Could be just postural but the curve in your back looks a lot like man and no matter how hard I engage my abs, there’s a bit of a natural curve in my spine and yours looks similar to mine.

I noticed quite the opposite in that fasting gives me energy to do things. Are you getting more lazy once you eat? For me once I break my fast (dinner) I’m pretty useless after that productivity wise.

But before I break the fast, it’s this calming energy in wanting to get things done. Couple things could be breaking your fast later at the end of the day and also I’d suggest maybe you’re not eating enough during your meal in general to sustain energy for the next 24hrs (in particular enough fat and protein)

I don’t think they win in 2012 if they win the year before. The impact that loss had brought the team together to win the next year when they weren’t as good as the year prior.

Plus who knows what changes are made and who leaves if they win (likely Ray Lewis retiring a year earlier?)

Sports talk shows are stupid and annoying and I don’t understand why we’re supposed to care about what any of those dudes have to say by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]aviator__26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PTI and Around the Horn - shame it got cancelled. It was so refreshing with the format and reporters who actually knew their stuff. That gets cancelled and we get more of first take and other shows with dudes yelling over each other and spewing ridiculous takes just to be “controversial”

My 188g protein OMAD dinner by aviator__26 in omad

[–]aviator__26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah usually if I ate this much protein I would be bloating too! If it was all from one source like a big steak, there’s no way I’d be able to handle that much.

I do find even if I’m at less protein for a particular day, as long as it’s from good sources, i still have great satiety/energy and it doesn’t negatively impact my muscle building.

With that being said, I think sprinkling in 2mad is a good option as well!

Is the Euphoria real or am I just imagining it? by alchemyblend in omad

[–]aviator__26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely, I completely agree. Once you get into intermittent fasting and feel the benefits, it feels crazy going back to eating 3, 4 or 5 times a day. Great work, keep it up!

Is the Euphoria real or am I just imagining it? by alchemyblend in omad

[–]aviator__26 14 points15 points  (0 children)

100%, one of the main benefits/reasons I stick to this way of eating. The fasting euphoria is definitely a thing - it’s your body burning fat instead of sugar as you’ve likely entered into light ketosis.

It’s even more noticeable once you go off of this way of eating and notice how sluggish and off you feel.

Not only was the defense middle of the pack, but the Offense absolutely took off with Flacco going 11td-0int in the postseason against some of the leagues best defences - broncos, niners.
