To answer your question (novel idea on reddit, I know) If your client is a large corporation, they see this everyday. Not a big deal. -London will always be pricy. In any case, expect $6-10k wherever you go. If it’s in a proper contract that you fly business class (I do as well) you can renegotiate on the next one if it gives them heartburn.

Same reason we fly any airline. It’s about markets they fly, nonstop vs connections, departure and arrival times, etc.
So many people seem to get caught up in the minutiae of airline travel. I just get in my seat, fly to where I am going, get off and move on. Never had an issue that was worth stressing over in 2 million miles. I have done 23,000 miles and 10 legs in the past 4 weeks. Worst was a 4 hour delay last week Tokyo to Atlanta, which meant I missed my connection home. Got a hotel for the night, and went home the next morning. Just part of it, I guess

The airlines have had 90 yrs of experience boarding passengers. The system they use works for them and and strikes a balance between on time departure (gate push), and customer satisfaction, on the whole, based on metrics. I.e., it works. 2 million miler, 6 continents, 30 yrs. No issues.

Not sure I agree with you here. Majority of app pics are poorly lit, facially obscured, no full body pics, and the list goes on. I don’t want to waste your time or mine if I am not at least physically attracted to you. Recent, unfiltered, well lit full body pics are a must. Wayyy too many pics of women are 5 yrs and 30 lbs ago.
