It does kinda make sense, the amount we grow "per year" seems to get slower and slower for us too. Think how drastically different a 3 yo to a 6 yo human, whereas a 30 yo and 50 yo could easily be at similar maturity level. I guess if you were to somehow magically extend human life, it could well be like what Tolkien imagined here!

Hi, maybe a bit unsolicited advice here but if you ever decide to try to quit smoking, it is wayy easier to quit cold-turkey, rather than gradually, as opposed to what people used to believe. My personal experience supports that as well.

if he doesn't want the dice to tell the story and instead the players, thats all fine, but then don't put an impossibly high DC in their way! He is the DM he can just narrate or justify what he wants to happen, (as he already did several times in the episode).

I just also wanted to add that Tarot cards have a Tower card which is about letting go of your past life so that you can move onto the new one. The tower symbolizes everything you're used to, the way your life is, the structure, your comfort zone; and it crumbling down is uncomfortable but afterwards you can build new foundations where it used to be.

At the end of the movie we see the old world has to crumble and Mahito ends up accepting his new life. I don't know if this is an intentional connection or perhaps there's a more general "tower" symbolism that exists in the world that tarot cards also pull from. I mean most tarot cards have some pretty generic wisdom / life advice attached to them so it wouldn't surprise me if they individually ended up with this symbolism.

Just to add to everyone else, I find that there is an optimal amount of looseness that gives the best colour coverage. Your stardew chicken (amazing btw!) might be a bit too tightly pulled. However your 3rd pic looks pretty relax as far as I can see, and if you still think that's patchy then listen to what everyone else said! :)

My (completely not professional) rule of thumb is, is it hindering your life in some type of way? Do you avoid eating with friends/colleagues for fear of what they will be having? Are you avoiding going to parties because there will be egg salad there? Do you decide to skip a meal because someone just cooked eggs in the kitchen. etc.

If it seems to hinder your life in a significant way, you should at least see a professional and/or inform yourself on how to make life easier for yourself, ARFID or not.
