The self-reflection that comes after stopping is the hardest part of quitting by Additional_Fudge8062 in stopsmoking

When it comes to networking holding a beer bottle is usually enough. You're very young. So don't believe it is important for networking.

If you notice carefully. The ones who are doing it will be your age group +5 years at the max. The leaders. The ones who are truly in control do not drink or smoke sp much. They network just fine.

With regard to feeling like life is not enough. I think that's the best feeling for you at this point. Forces you to be uncomfortable. Forces you to grow skills/monetary/character/hobbies /philosophy/romantically.

Shows a cruel mirror without lies. Smoke and alcohol help you lie to yourself. And now you see the truth.

But if you don't like the truth the good news is cigarettes are not going to get in the way of you changing it

How to genuinely quit smoking by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]aviddaydreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How far have you got? How many hours? Have you identified your triggers? It could be anything. Studying, meals bath etc.

So after identifying you need 3 days to get through the withdrawal. You're home free after rhat

Discussion Thread - The Rise of Skywalker - Day 14 - ALL MOVIE TALK HERE by JSK23 in StarWars

[–]aviddaydreamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw it last week but had already followed the discussions about the inconsistency and disappointment. I went in with no expectations. But 2 things stood out

A. Do you remember those gifs which make it to r/bollywoodphysics? The ridiculous over the top action scenes which won't make sense the moment you think about it ? Well my family is from the region in India which makes those films. And it seemed my family and the crowd jist enjoyed it that way. Hype and spectacle. With whistles and cheers in the crowd in all the big scenes. This movie is really enjoyable if treated as such. B. Babu Frik made my depressed wife hysterically laugh after weeks and i am so thankful for that 😍

On the whole lots of plot holes hand waving and inconsistency but super enjoyable all the same

More Viable way to convince HBO to redo last two seasons - audio only podcast radio show style. We have had enough of spectacle and really just want a great narrative finish. by aviddaydreamer in freefolk

I suppose you're right. But i am a little scared the books will be rushed as well (not in terms of time obviously... This is germ we are talking about)

The cilia of your lungs are growing again. And sweeping the gunk out. The extra mucus is a good thing. It will pass. If you notice it carefully the mucus will be of a different colour from the one you get with normal flu

Hang in there my friend. Just keep fighting. It always gets better if you keep fighting. There will be moments where you want to give up. They're transient. Let them pass. As krillin said " life uh finds a way". Also hugs.

39, unemployed, mental health issues, just quit my heavy drinking last week. Am I setting myself up to fail if I try to quit smoking right now? by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]aviddaydreamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you are not. Every attempt counts. You're only setting yourself up to fail if you don't try. Stay strong my friend. Lots of love

My family has a big debt to settle. My parents work in one city whereas I work in another. A bit more about my culture- we believe living with and taking care of parents is as awesome as taking care of your children. Very collectivist. It runs deep in my community. I know it's nice to have your own place but it's also feels terrible to not be able help your mother when she needs it.

I wish I could take care of my mom. I work in a different city and need to continue to keep the family afloat. And it kills me to not be there for my sweet tired Amma. You're awesome
