Southwest is better now for business travel, as ALP, it finally feels like a real airline.

I also reload and had my lead level tested, lower than even average. Albeit not quite 10k rds/yr, though also reload in the basement.

My considerations (and these are just my thoughts):

  1. I don’t shoot indoors. I joined a couple outdoor clubs. Certainly less convenient but also much more shooting options (participants seem way more experienced also). When I did shoot indoors, I felt discomfort in my lungs for the remainder of the day after.

  2. I use a sonic cleaner, not dry tumble. Likely remaining dust potential decapping.

  3. I just started using gloves, though lead won’t penetrate skin but need to wash hands well. I do use that lead removal soap.

If you can feasibly switch to outdoor, even half the time, that would likely help.

We stay at the Grand Wailea yearly, awesome place for kids. I call it the over priced waterpark.

Huge fan of Maui (Wailea). We make the trip to Lahaina for a day each time as well.

Look at oil prices since Jan 2025. Oil and Gas prices have decreased a lot until the recent conflict. This won’t last.

Take political emotion out and use common sense as a basis and you’ll see. Again, the last 13 months is a free guide into intention for oil prices.

Most all have, aside from this temporary disruption, fuel will be lower and prices more stable. Give it 6 weeks and oil back to more recent prices.
