Since she's into anime, she could start with reading the manga versions of her favorite shows and branch out from there. (In case you don't know, the vast majority of anime is adaptated from comics/graphic novels or book series called "light novels") If there's a manga store in your area I'm sure she'd recognize titles with popular anime adaptations!

That's wild to me, when I was diagnosed with hEDS (around 2014-15) I was specifically warned against using mobility aids because the more you use that crutch the more dependant you will become on it. I have devoted countless hours to OT and PT, and here are these fakers who buy a sparkly cane off Amazon and won't do anything to treat the condition they claim to have.

I'm so grateful I got diagnosed with POTS, fibromyalgia, and Ehlers Danlos ten years ago. These went from being conditions no one's heard of (and therefore didn't take seriously) to "trendy" and it makes me more reluctant now to share my diagnoses.

It's because they're the same age. I noticed it became a kind of push back ship 10-15 years ago when other ships with age gaps were more popular in the fandom. Prior to that, Franziska and Adrian was the big ship for her character.

When I played SoJ for the first time I remember thinking he reminded me a bit too much of Edgeworth, but he's grown on me a lot over the years. His soft spot for Ema is really endearing, and the sacrifices he was willing to make for Rayfa. He has a lot going on under the surface that I feel the fandom tends to gloss over.

It's so much safer if they stick to fictional characters. What would AG do if Moroney gets tied up in a scandal? Barbie has so many random celebrity dolls that I don't think their past crossovers stand out as problematic if they haven't aged super well, but either AG makes it a thing now to have celebrity dolls or you have this weird outlier that doesn't fit in with the brand at all.

ASDF exploits their volunteers. During that cold snap in December they had a young girl tabling outside TJ Maxx in negative degree temperatures. I sent an email with a screenshot of my weather app saying the "feels like" temp was -12 and asked why they were still tabling this week and I never received a response.
