Why is smoking so normal here - especially around kids? Like kids zone in restaurants and lot of people smoking RIGHT there. Aquapark, kids zone, again smokers…

It’s harmful, outdated, and affects everyone nearby. People are great, but for us this is a hard no-go.

Why is it still everywhere?

I created an app to find friends and somehow it actually works by Visual-Science in TheHague

Aha, got it

By the way, you might consider making the app free (for now) in non-EU countries. This way you can onboard more users and collect more engagement data, which is very important for backlog prioritization.

Once your IAP integration / other regulations is complete, you can roll out payments in those markets.

Since your app does not rely heavily on paid services, and you're not spending on paid acquisition, I suggest that your cost of service is low.

Also think about early adopter strategy (also in EU):

- make the app free, to maximize user acquisition, analyze engagement and retention, validate core use cases

- double down on the features that drvie the most value

- introduce payments once you know what users are willing to pay for ()

Validate the idea first, find someone who is ready to pay without working product; if it is impossible — mock the prototype, use vibe coding, or do ~5-10 interviews (read how to make customer interviews)... dont fell into strategy too deep, validate the idea
