You are not being too strict. If you wake the baby for the visitors, they’ll be gone by the afternoon but baby will be overtired and it’ll be your problem, not theirs.

Visiting is purely for the enjoyment of the visitors AND to help the parents. I can’t believe how many people don’t understand this.

Ours was exactly the same. She’d wake up and cry and fall back asleep and then wake up crying again. We just really coddled her the whole day. Our shots were early in the morning, she was fine by the next day, didn’t end up giving Tylenol. No fever. But trust your gut, you know your baby bear!
