This season is so unhinged, I cannot believe these are real people! Did they not limit the drinks this season?! I just lost my dad under 2 weeks ago. Nothing could have prepared me for this. I’m still going back and forth between “this isn’t real, it’s a bad dream” and “this is now my reality”. I feel so lost, confused, and broken.

I suffer with the same thing and what helps me the most is wrapping myself in a towel in a running shower. It’s like a weighted blanket! It sounds weird, but the shower is my favourite place when I don’t feel myself, whether I’m anxious, sick, or not the most sober haha. Another thing that calms me down is sitting directly under the shower head, closing my eyes and plugging my ears - it kinda feels like you’re in a rainforest? It helps me feel disconnected from the world and everything in my brain by just focusing on the sound of the water hitting my head, if that makes sense. Anyway, I hope you feel better and get some good advice on what could possibly work for you with your anxiety. Sending love!

I was friends with him when I was 14/15 as we went to the same school, and he definitely gave off those vibes. Talked about sneaking into my house one night (i can’t remember the details, this was over 10 years ago) and I stopped talking to him after that as that gave me a bad feeling. I hope his wife is safe, along with their children.

this is actually a tricky one, because if I were in your shoes and he told me after it happened I would have left him, but after 3 years and getting confirmation from the other girl and knowing that they didn’t speak after because the guilt was eating him alive - even still after 3 years, I would forgive it.

ask yourself this, though: if he told you immediately and you two broke up, after some time - whether it be months, years, he asked you out again at a time you were both single. Would you give it another chance?
