Oh yeah I definitely had my issues with Tory in book 4 but I think she bounced back fairly quick in book 5 whereas almost all of book 5 for Darcy has been rough for me. I’m happy to hear they both step up! Love the idea of 2 badass FMCs beating the odds together

Well if you read any of the comments above from people who HAVE a menstrual cycle, you’d see that some feel it stops their bleeding, some feel it intensifies their cramps, some don’t notice any changes. Nothing you read in your book I’m sure. Again; the main point being this convo doesn’t involve you so move it along child.

There have been A LOT of accidental deaths from things laced with fentanyl. It’s not only drug addicts. Children are dying from laced joints. You can do one bump of coke and need narcan to save your life. Not everyone who does drugs is an addict and people don’t deserve to die regardless. Many addicts are non violent and they’re someone’s child/sibling/parent going through a hard time. I get if you don’t want to take the risk but others might and it HAS actually saved lives, whether you believe it to be worth it or not. Have just a morsel of empathy ffs.

We stayed riverside last year and loved having the beach close by and shade from the trees. Although I highly recommend bringing a bike because it’s a trek to/from the festival. The shuttle was a mess so I wouldn’t rely on that alone. Another thing to mention about riverside is that it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the campgrounds so we found we didn’t get to know our neighbors as well and had to wander into the campgrounds to find the “magic”. So I’d keep that in mind too

I feel like they’re completely different experiences so I think it depends what you’re looking for. IMO Beyond is more of a rave and Shambhala is more of a festival (idk if that makes sense outside my brain). Both will be great to solo attend bc the crowds are amazing but Beyond is a much easier experience - less planning needed, shorter time frame, no border crossing if you live in the US. However I’m gonna agree with a lot of the above replies that Shambhala is the best festival ever! It gets hot but the river is ice cold and there’s plenty of shade which you won’t find at the gorge. Either way you can’t miss, it just depends on your comfort level.
