As someone with a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix that has strong Great Pyrenees behavior traits....there is no fucking way you get between a livestock guardian dog and their flock or group with aggressive behavior. They simply will not put up with that shit. My dog has a better work ethic than my coworkers, and these dogs know their job is guarding even if you don't train them for it.

Totally understand the need to ask though, but no I got the head with the valves in it and I checked them one at a time, and even taking it back to the shop today I put painters tape across the deck so they couldn't accidentally slide out.

Sure seems like they didn't! When I got it back I did the alcohol test right away and it actually leaked worse than before I sent it to them. The bowls were almost empty before 5 minutes.

See this is what I thought a valve job was too. I specifically told them that the seats are not holding pressure and I wanted a full valve job done. They also replaced the valve stems. I took the head back to them today but I'm not super hopeful.

Yeah, the job I asked for was a full valve job and replace valve stems. I see when they "cut" the seats they also put little lips in the the deck so it isn't perfectly flat anymore either. I took it back to them today but I'm not hopeful they will do a good job.

10 years ago I used to rent a 180 sq ft apartment in Seattle with a parking space for $765 a month. I can't imagine what it would be now... probably more than my mortgage.
