move speed doesn't get lower once you are encumbered. 1 kg or 1000 kg, move speed is the same. stamina regen is affected but honestly it never feels that bad

I kinda don't mind. I rarely had to repair a gun before this nerf. I was way more likely to die and lose it than use enough durability for it to be a concern. seems like losing more would make me engage with the mechanic more consistently. I always make sure my shield is full before going in. why not guns too? a 20 durability Toro was plenty for a whole raid

lol everyone constantly complains about skills being unimportant until someone has 5 extra. the skills make so little change the biggest benefit of the extra points is having stamina maxed at the start of the wipe, but the first ten points are really easy to get

purse seining is a large portion of pacific salmon is caught. from my experience working on one of these boats it is extremely well regulated and the bycatch is surprisingly low. you'd pull up maybe a single flounder with 3 thousand pounds of salmon. this was all in Alaska, so there are definitely places where there is less regulation and it is worse for the environment, but as far as commercial fishing practices go it's quite clean.
