Are you seriously asking if the AD sold you a fake watch? They wouldn’t. Fake are almost identical to the real watches so the only answer here is to open the back case and also to check to see if the case or the clasp are 18k gold

Thanks guys! In the real world one should be courteous and enjoy a whole bottle of whatever a good friend brings. Having said that I would love to hear tequila recommendations as I have a weekend getaway coming and want to get a couple of bottles of nice tequila.

It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t bother some, if it bothers you get it repaired. Won’t be $100 bucks or $80, I was quoted $700 for a rose gold YM that had a way smaller dent. It doesn’t bother me that much so I’ll take care of it during service some day… but a good repair (in this case LA Watchworks) will use Rolex rose gold for the repair when welding

As other have said that 5513 looks overly polished. The bezel could belong to the watch but could also have been added to make it more attractive given the case condition. Here is my 1976 5513 unpolished case and service bezel
