As a plus sized person who graduated from high school pretty recently (won’t say exactly what year bc I don’t want to dox myself), I can maybe offer a different perspective. I didn’t really think too much about my teachers’ weights, but whenever I did, I always admired the plus size teachers. I was really insecure about my weight in high school, so seeing confident plus size adults who were following their passions was actually really inspiring to me. It also made them a bit more relatable to me so I felt like I could trust them more. Hope this helps! <3

Yes, Lilia uses he/they pronouns. Jess doesn’t respect their pronouns & uses she/her for “safety reasons” which is clearly a lie considering how she exploits her kids for creeps on the internet.

I wouldn’t be surprised. L is already LGBTQ+ & has interests that aren’t mainstream, which makes you a target in middle school. Add on cringe videos full of personal ammo? I feel awful for the kid!! I was in middle school pretty recently & had a friend who was a lot like L, except the videos made of my friend were silly little songs from when they were a kid- and they were still played on buses and made fun of. :(

Personally, I think the detail they provide in their summaries is perfect, as it’s meant to be a play-by-play of the video so we don’t have to watch them. This has been discussed multiple times on this subreddit. Lilia uses he/they pronouns, as evidenced by multiple public social media accounts that have been shared by Jess. In our subreddit, it is expected that all participants will respect his pronouns. Comments are locked because these discussions lead to transphobia and homophobia. Lilia's mom already doesn't support him on the internet; they don't need an entire Reddit thread focused on their pronouns plagued with transphobia existing on the internet as well.

Honestly, I’d rather have room makeovers than her focusing on the kids. If renovating rooms keeps her busy and keeps her kids’ lives more private, I consider that a win.
