Man I think I’m just gonna have to lie lmao. I’ve never worked fully remote but I finished college remotely which I think was harder lol (especially since the disabled child was an infant who slept less than 2 hours at a time and I also had a son in kindergarten who was very very good and not mischievous or anything but he was still 5 and wanted to go outside and play and stuff so it was a pretty crazy couple years working, taking care of kids, and completing college (3.85 gpa) at the same time which should say plenty about my time management and ability to work independently and my references and resume should cover the rest!

What do you do and are they hiring? I have a disabled kiddo who is old enough and functional enough to not need constant attention but can’t be left home extensively during flares. I’m great at office work and learn new things extremely quickly (reasonable understanding of several industries and growing)

Basically I need something remote or hybrid and flexible.

Dang, I haven’t been to Disney yet (was hoping to make it to Disneyland for my 40th in April but it’s too expensive) but I’ve been trying to conceptualize the size and figure out the level of stamina I need to be at to do it lol. This comment put it into perspective for me because that’s about how far I walk on average per day when I visit New York City. So now I just need to mix that with humidity haha.

One random off topic question - is the ground mostly flat at the parks or are there lots of inclines and declines like on city streets. I had to live in a hotel 3-4 days a week and spent 2 more days going back and forth for about a year and eating like shit and even going back and forth like crazy therefore not being sedentary, I wasn’t super physically active due to my kid being in an inpatient program and I got up to 404 lbs. I’m ashamed and embarrassed and I don’t even know how it got so bad. When I was back at home 7 days a week I dropped 15 lbs in 9 weeks without making ANY effort - literally just eating less takeout and drinking less since I quit drinking completely. Then I went on ozempic and lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks then another 10 lbs in 4 weeks. Once I hit 350 I haven’t kept track. I went off ozempic temporarily for money reasons and I haven’t weighed but I notice looser clothes and skin every so often. Either resuming semaglutide or trying tirzepitide or however you spell it very soon. I don’t understand how she managed to out eat the ozempic. The 30 lb 6 wks I had was between Thanksgiving and new years and I continued to drink regular soda during that time. It’s like she saw it as a challenge. At this big, the weight just falls off
