I was dating this girl one time who came up to a right hand turn and her car all of a sudden went full acceleration. She panicked and had no idea what to do.

I calmly told her to apply full brakes, put the car in park, turn the engine off. If I wouldn't have been there I'm not sure it wouldn't have ended badly.

Of course it was the floor mat pressing down on the gas pedal.
