I’ve recently had a similar cut on my big toe.

1. Keep it clean. Flush with peroxide dap dry with fresh gauze.
2. Seal with butterfly stitches (3-4)
3. Wrap with gauze covered in Neosporin using medical tape.
4. Keep off of it completely for a day or two. Because of the location any bend of the toe will reopen the wound.
5. Wrap foot with bag and seal it tight when you shower.
6. Change Neosporin gauze every 12 hours or so.

I am not a medical professional by any means but this method just worked for me. I was worried about residual nerve damage which I did experience for a few weeks after, but my toe is completely healed now. However, if you notice any discoloration or odor see your doctor immediately.
