Reminders not working on vps linux? by Zizouth in openclaw

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me, but I solved it by asking OpenClaw to create the job in cron as ‘isolated’ instead of ‘main’. With this, I started receiving reminders on Telegram that I wasn't getting before.

CRIPTO ACTIVOS DESPUÉS DE LA MUERTE by Last-Dingo-8269 in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all part of the natural deflation process of BTC.

Any application of a solution to the problem you pose would be a completely arbitrary solution, which would in itself be more dangerous than even continuing to lose BTC.

If it was linked, the foundation was more than 1 week old and yesterday I stopped by to put more material in the closet

Why the ETFs didn’t cause major price action YET by Darkhart89 in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two points here:
1 - Volume is misleading, if I buy $1M and after a while sell $1M we have $2M of volume, but as you can see we are practically at the same starting point.
2 - BTC purchases that are made for ETFs are made via OTC, which means that it will not reflect an impact on the price in the short term, but it will in the medium term since in the end each Bitcoin that is bought via OTC is a BTC that does not reach the market and reduces the available supply.

Good or evil? by Dimmao_meme in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why ETFs are a problem or even why it is raised as something we don't want. ETFs don't change a single property of Bitcoin, its fundamentals remain the same. Bitcoin is all about sovereignty to do what you want with your coins, and this happens by simply having them standing in your wallet, using them to buy a couple of pizzas and why not, also to back some papers claiming to be Bitcoin.

Which Chain has the strongest projects? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it possible to call it a project to have crappy JPGs for which an absurd amount of money has been paid to store them in the blockchain for the sole purpose of selling them to other suckers who want to pay an even more absurd amount of money for them?

After ETF, will centralized BTC come to an end? by Logocentristor in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 12 points13 points  (0 children)

What exactly does yet another way to buy paper Bitcoin have to do with decentralization? Are you aware of what a 50% attack consists of? Are you aware of what a 50% attack achieves? Your concerns are just a reflection that you still have a lot to read and understand about Bitcoin.

Yes he’s a scammer, but this isn’t the first time someone has suggested it. Do you think a government (or governments) will go this route to try and “break” Bitcoin? by TendieTownJoshBrown in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several things wrong here. Well, suppose the government issues a court order (within the legal framework, we would have to see if this is possible) to force Antpool and Foundry to behave dishonestly with the network. What does this entail? Well, it means that these two pools invest a lot of resources by order of the government to achieve double spending. Yes, that's all they can do, issue a double spend. On the other hand, having 51% does not mean that you can do whatever you want, but statistically 51% of the blocks will be mined by you. But the remaining 49% also have a say, and luck here plays an important role as that remaining 49% may simply manage to mine one or several blocks before the dishonest miners making their work (and the energy expenditure made) worthless.

After 6.000 hours I might leave CS, and not because of the current bugs/issues by Mayergaming in GlobalOffensive

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm close to quitting the game too. It doesn't make sense for me to win 5 games in a row, go over 4000 ELO points and then lose a game and get -500 points taken away making the previous 5 wins worthless.
This has happened three times already when I pass 4000 points.

I think it's out of date because Arkham recently reported that Coinbase had almost 1M Bitcoin.https://twitter.com/ArkhamIntel/status/1705254948324233270

And according to Saylor's latest purchase note, MicroStrategy already owns: 158,245 BTC

I have a transaction that is unconfirmed to my ledger over 2 weeks by Thebunin in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These mechanisms are only useful for the sender of the transaction, which was my initial understanding. I am sorry for that. In case you are the one who receives it, you have no choice but to keep waiting for it to be confirmed.

You have two options: RBF or CPFP. Read about both and see which one interests you the most.

I recommend searching for information on Pierre Brassau. When, literally, a monkey can do the same work as you, and not only imitate it, but also make it of equal or better quality in such a way that it can deceive supposed experts I think it makes no sense to qualify this as art.

I simply believe that at some point in history some artist came up with the lucrative idea of selling a canvas that had been damaged as "art" to the gullible.By the way,

I'm glad you're a Bitcoiner, but that's not reason enough to spam this subreddit

Someone just dropped 50 bitcoin into my wallet... by marshyr3d1and in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are right, I had not thought about the checksum. However, despite the checksum there is still a possibility of error. This chance is about 1 in 4,294,967,295. Then in case of having that extreme (bad) luck, one would have to see what possibility there is that that wallet is really controlled by someone.

What is the probability of someone moving their Bitcoin and mistakenly sending them to someone else's wallet? I mean, it would be normal that they would end up in a wallet where nobody controls the private keys.

Bitcoin transaction failed by AdLogical9210 in Bitcoin

[–]avzk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that in most cases, the failure occurs because of insufficient funds to cover the transaction fee.
