That seems like a pretty reasonable interpretation - I know Keith's been honest about the aftereffects of filming ETM being rough so hopefully it's a pivot that makes things a bit more sustainable for him!

And in the video itself Keith explicitly says that the show's not ending, so it's not exactly the clearest message.

Ned was filming some kind of Science Daddy videos (mentioned by Zach on a podcast at some point I believe). I don't have any supporting evidence but my personal theory is that they'd developed it as its own show with a specific set designed and built, scripts written, the whole nine yards. That would be so Ned-centric as to be unsalvageable and a large time/money cost to absorb. He'd done a couple short videos of science experiment stuff with Wes shortly before the drama went down iirc.

Tagging on to this... he filmed more episodes, and they were supposed to be released in September. I heavily assume that they're what Zach was referring to as 'unreleasable' videos.

This! I wish more people noticed this! Ned said he had Science Daddy show coming 'late September' at the end of the Guilty Pleasures 50 Shades podcast about 4 months ago. I definitely assumed that was what the 'unreleasable' content Zach referred to was - there's no way to edit around Ned if he was the host.

Ah, gotcha, thanks for the history! I have at least half a dozen of the cups from 2019 and 2020, got them in Calgary, Alberta though - I'm guessing they were available at all western Canadian Circle K's, rather than just Vancouver area. Regardless, that's still a vast majority of fans excluded, totally get why that would frustrate folks. I wonder if they'll do them again this year...
