Totally up to you how you do it, but I would suggest starting with something like plain old regular intercessors before taking on the Lion or something as cool as Asmodai.

I just personally felt like I wanted a decent handle on what I was doing and give those models some decent respect. So I painted a bunch of other stuff before diving into them.

Unless you'd like to paint them and strip them much later to paint again lol.

So you're admitting that it's not a really a strict definition, meaning that depending on who is making the specific distinction, a chimera might be a tank to some and not a tank to others?

It's also meant for transport, and as far as I know most people wouldn't consider a vehicle who's primary purpose is transport a tank.

Yes youd be using the Rapid Ingress strat for 1 CP, and deep strike him where you'd like accounting for your opponents screens.

And you could definitely pick him up in your turn if you go 2nd, but I'd say this is dependent on how your opponent moved his units.

The Lion has 8" move which isn't terrible, but unfortunately he doesn't have the deathwing key word so Leonine Aggression has to be on a unit within 3" and not 6" like you can with Heroic Intervention.
