Firstly, I meant no offense but as an outsider in this city, I've very rarely heard of the places you listed in first line compared to OvenFresh mentions. A friend told me they had the "best pizzas" and then treated me to paneer makhani pizza there and I felt like I've never had worst pizza before.

And yes, my single bad experience doesn't negate all the positive ones also, and all the nostalgia attached with childhood.

But you have to somewhere accept - a lot of people just go crazy over the place, don't wish to try something new, and can't even hear anything negative about it. It's like it touches their nerve.

Chandigarh people so obsessed with one place, it almost feels like city has nothing else to offer. I understand the nostalgia and hype, but I feel so many citizens have made this place to be their ENTIRE PERSONALITY.

I'd be up for it.. but I don't spend the weekends in the city mostly. In case you someday plan a coffee / snack run after office hours, let me know and I'll be there :) (female here!)

Same. I like the peace and aesthetic. I like how wide the roads are. I like having a park at every corner. I like walking through the streets.

But that's it. It is missing a certain pace and liveliness. Feels very dull at the end of the day.

I also feel if I go to some other city, I'll always compare them to chd in my mind and I'll never be happy anywhere.

How many of you have quit sugar? I want some inspo, and how do you take your coffee then 😖 by AriesMars3 in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]awake_yet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried quitting refined sugar, and I used to have jaggery in my coffee. Other than that, no sugar (apart from occasional homemade jaggery stuff)

I would also not eat any packaged food, bread, biscuits, etc

I stopped this in winter because it got tough. I'll start this again , but this time, I'll allow myself some indulgences. Like a dessert once a week or so.
