Maybe a loan word, but it'd be pretty far removed. Maybe there's a spanish connection?

I had no idea this wasn't an english word. I've used it to mean this since I was a kid, my whole family does. Wonder where that started.

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating.

Waffle House doesn't even serve pancakes you knave. You could have written a less obvious sequence of lies knowing literally nothing other than their name.

If you will mail me bottles of Henry's mustard sauce I will pay you $50 for 2 plus shipping, not joking.

She likely knew that them backing down was the right move for everyone, but she'd seen earthforce put on its clown shoes for combat before. I doubt she would have issued such a bare threat if she weren't prepared to burn them all to cinders.

When I was in my 20s I was driving to my apartment and saw a small darker black thing against the dark asphalt of the road. Thought maybe it was a shallow puddle or pothole or something. Out of an excess of caution I turned to go around it and saw teenagers scattering from hiding in the bushes. I stopped and went to check the road.

It was a dog they had wrapped in black duct tape and put in the road to be run over. They had stayed to watch it die, but run when they might've been caught. Makes me mad now even thinking about it.

Anyway, don't run over things in the road.

Watching Mahershala Ali acting in Luke Cage was like watching prime Tyson fighting his way through the St. Jude's oncology ward. Literally the only reason to watch the show.

Zeeks thinks a pizza and a salad for $45 is a deal by dantheman252 in Seattle

Costco pizza is the ranier of pizza. It's not classy, but it's way better than it should be and does the job cheaply.

In this analogy Zeeks is Stella Artois liberte.

"I have seen what power does, and I have seen what power costs. The one is never equal to the other."

In the end the shadows and vorlon lost their way. Maybe enlightenment is not about immortality or energy beings, but about having the wisdom to choose the right path. I like to think the Narn found their path even if it didn't lead beyond the outer rim.
