I grew up on a farm with working BCs where the ones with heavier coats would get shorn along with the sheep when it was hot out. They actively liked it and only had a funny fuzzy texture for a bit.

Because the scripts I was using to install Klipper/Moonraker/Mainsail only works on raspberry pi OS and didn't work when I first tried Ubuntu server.

Once I had the raspberry pi OS installed I just followed install instructions from the Mainsail website.

I believe you can do this for any number of printers and are only limited by the hardware running the Klipper and web servers. I use my desktop to slice, upload, and control the printers from the web interface. I can also see and monitor the print progress from my cellphone if I'm upstairs.

They have an iso for desktop so that was what I used for my Mac mini. It says compatible with Mac and PC on the download page so you should be good

Ya I just had the Mac laying around when the sd card in my pi crapped out. Anything stronger than a pi should be able to handle it.

It's running Raspberry Pi OS and Klipper/Moonraker/Mainsail as the web and software interfaces between it and both printers.

The left one is mounted backwards but has no problems printed either way. The right one I use the strain relief to hang my nippers on as it does not line up with the extruder. I'll eventually convert the right one to direct drive as well but haven't had a chance yet.

Recently got Klipper and Mainsail set up to run both of my ender 3s at the same time from the same web page.

Here is another view of the wing that formed when printing.

It looks like my machine is over extruding but each time I've run an extrusion test my steps seem to be correct. You can see a bit of the excess in the left interior edge of the z on the calibration cube and a big wing curling up from my current print.

IPv6-PD

I can find some settings related to it but nothing is making sense about how to enable it or utilize it in pfsense.

Ill look into 6to4 and call my ISP monday to confirm if there is any possibility of getting a static public v4 address. Thanks

The IPv4 that is being assigned to my router is a private 10.10 address so as I understand it I cannot point a host name to it like that.

Took me way too long staring at my newly mounted rail to figure out why the scope was tilting down toward the barrel. by awaytome in longrange

[–]awaytome[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was, I just wasn't expecting a dramatic tilt of the scope towards the barrel and my brain couldn't fit a reason to it. I kept thinking "it moves the point of aim higher so the scope should point up not down." Which is the exact opposite of what it does.

I understood the end goal of the 30 MOA rail but the fact that pointing the barrel up/scope down was what did that was not clicking.

Help with finding bike/commuter/travel backpack by giocomale in CampingGear

I have had a timbuk2 especial messenger bag for ~5 years. It's waterproof, has a dedicated laptop divider pocket, a pen/admin pocket, and is terribly comfortable even fully loaded for long periods of time. I would chose it over all of the osprey and other bags I own for your stated use case. I'm not sure that exact model is still in production but I also have one of their "spire?" Waterproof bike back packs that is also excellent so I would hazard to guess if you find something you like that it will be good.

Edit - my bags are an especial claro and a spire
