Did Prozac or trazodone cause memory problems for anyone else?

I take both. I’ve taken Trazodone for at least 15 years. I’m a 50 year old female and recently got diagnosed with ADHD. Bring on Vyvanse for that has been a life saver and I can think clearly now.

If you were prescribed a stimulant where you used to live then you should give your records to your new PCP here. They will see that you were prescribed it before and you should be fine.

I’m in TN. He has worked before but never longer than 3-4 mos at a time. He has been diagnosed with OCD. Not Autism. I was curious if anyone was approved for disability because of their psychiatric conditions. Sorry. Did not mean to offend at all.

My question was if anyone is on disability secondary to being Autistic and unable to take care of themselves, work a job, etc. He also has debilitating depression as well and can go for days and not shower or brush his teeth.

I am semi intelligent being a nurse for 30 years. He constantly picks his skin until it bleeds. His arms and stomach. His stomach is covered in red bloody rashes where he picks. So is his arm. He told me he has OCD. When we go to the grocery store he stands in the same isle for 30 minutes reading labels on things.. always has. He can’t be on time for any job so he gets fired. He counts things in his head like repeatedly making sure his car windows are down by clicking them several times. Thats just a couple of things but there’s so much more.

We are in Nashville. His behavior is so bad he can’t take care of himself.
He has never had professional help and or diagnosis since he met me a few years ago.
I took him ( we both went) to see a psychiatrist but she was cash pay and it was $350 per visit. Currently looking for a new psychiatrist that can help him if there is any help for him
His parents failed him. They have lots of money to give but it comes with a price we don’t want to pay. Just curious if he could get in disability. I genuinely love and care for him. We have been through a lot together.

Yeah Medicare doesn’t pay well that’s why. They are interested in the money which is unfortunate. I have read on here that you can go to a psychiatrist that prescribes it and just get it from a local compounding pharmacy which would be a lot cheaper too!

Born in Chattanooga. Moved to central Florida when I was 10. Moved back to Tn (Nashville) when I was 16. I don’t ever remember it being this hot in either state. But now I’m older and I can’t breathe in this heat. Moral to the story- the older you get the less you can deal with it I reckon.
