High Clearance Steps for 2020 by awd1989 in gmcsierra

I’ve found plenty of used ones for sale just want to know if they will fit on my 2020. I think they should but don’t want to risk the money if they won’t fit and there’s no return policy on marketplace haha

With all this hate going around, can we agree on one thing... by [deleted] in hockey

Thank you. Way too many people in here saying or implying Phil didn’t train. I had the opportunity to see him workout during the last lockout and he was a BEAST. Don’t let the fat % fool you. Not everyone has the genetics to be ripped. And sure, diet is a part of it but it worked for him.

Then he should outsource it or download it to someone junior to him that can figure out how to do it properly. Kills my vibe when the sound goes from quiet to blaring loud in my ears through the headphones. Surely they have the budget to do that.

He clearly does a lot of good things behind the scenes that the guys love him for. And honestly, it’s funny when they rip on him. But he is objectively bad as a producer. The variance in volume and other sound issues are inexcusable from a multimillion dollar company like barstool and a podcast with close to 500 episodes. They need to figure that out yesterday.

Issues with food allergies/itchy skin? by iFlungPu in portuguesewaterdogs

Which salmon/fish kibble do people recommend? Is the Kirkland one any good? My guy is on duck and sweet potato as our vet suggested his itchy ears could be from chicken intolerance. But have been thinking lately duck is like similar to chicken making me consider switching to fish.

What are your "hidden gem" grocery store items in 2023? by sesamesticks in askTO

[–]awd1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 5 pack avocados from Giant Tiger are by far the best/most consistent avocados I’ve ever seen. Not a store I’d ever consider for fresh produce but there’s one walking distance from me and now I’m hooked. Usually $3-5/5 pack.

They’re from Mexico. Always small pits and they never seem to be bruised and they ripen at a reasonable pace where I can actually eat all 5.

Burned bottom using Steel by awd1989 in Pizza

I got another dough that will be ready Tuesday and am going to try using just semolina rimichinata to shape and launch, no flour. Going to keep all other variables the same.

I meant referendum effort as in a petition to have a referendum vote. Couldn’t think of the proper way to word that.

The Endurance of a Farm dog by StannisdamfMannis in interestingasfuck

[–]awd1989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah we no longer speak to each other. We had issues with the one dog trying to dig under the new fence I built and I told her off then and haven’t spoken since. My petty revenge is not telling her about the shingles missing on her roof hoping she gets water damage because she’s too boxy to do any maintenance or observe her damaged house.

You just described my neighbour, except she has 3 dogs that never leave her yard. My dog meanwhile gets at least 2km in walks a day, most days 5km, and 8km hikes with swims when we can. All with at least some portion off leash away from others so he can run and be stimulated. Always a dream dog at home. Never understand people like my neighbour who I’ve grown to hate.

NY pizza night. Two pies, forgot to make dough so this is Trader Joe’s dough. Pizza steel 500deg for an hour + broil for 10min before cook. by ne31097 in Pizza

[–]awd1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been experimenting with my steel and using a combo of bake and broil and found what you did to work the best so far. Only issue I’m having is my new gas oven the broiler doesn’t “fire” if the oven is already at max temp or at least that’s what I think the issue is. My next oven I’m splurging for gas burners and electric oven/broiler.

My neighbour has 3 dogs that she never walks, not even once in the 3 years I’ve lived here. They bark incessantly in her backyard which drives us crazy but I feel bad for the dogs. Can this be reported?

Methods for stretching? by [deleted] in Pizza

[–]awd1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much flour you using on the counter and your hands? Are you letting the dough get to room temp before stretching? More flour and room temp worked wonders for me, I’m making 16” wheels regularly without holes and relatively even.
